It is an honor to serve as the 2014 Honorary Mayor for the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce.
I have been involved as a business owner and volunteer in this community for the past 8 years, and I have had the privilege of working with many great people on several worthwhile committees and events. Being chosen to represent the Crescenta Valley as the Honorary Mayor will give me the opportunity to get involved and do my best to positively impact our fine community. I plan to make sure that the Chamber remains a valuable tool that allows owners to be heard and shows them how to get involved with their community and their peers. I will listen to what business owners are saying, direct their concerns to the appropriate agencies, and hope to motivate them to help the chamber improve the landscape for commerce in this area.
If you are on our chamber website and are taking the time to read this, I want to urge you to get involved. This community is such a wonderful place to live and work because the citizen’s care. As concerned residents, we get involved, we help our neighbors and we work together to make this place better today than it was yesterday. Whether you live in the area, are thinking about moving here, own a business, or are considering opening a business, come help make a positive impact on your community with us. You won’t regret it.
Henry Ford said, “A business that makes nothing but money is a poor business.” Come see how your local business owners are bringing value to your community with their services and their time. If you have questions about the Chamber or want some more information on the benefits of becoming a member please don’t hesitate to reach out and let me know if I can help.
