The Recognition Banquet, held in the fall, is to honor individuals, organizations and businesses that have made a difference in the community including contributions to the business environment, exceptional achievement or service to our community, and outstanding social, civic or educational leadership.
Nominations are received for man of the year, woman of the year, business of the year, organization of the year, volunteer of the year, educator of the year and beautification award. Also recognized are student of the year and public safety officers from the California Highway Patrol, L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. and Fire Dept., and Glendale Police Dept. The recipients are recognized at our annual dinner banquet to which the community is invited.
